(April 2026) There are no development timelines right now. The District is purchasing the parcels of land in downtown as a foundation for future success.
The District will issue an RFP for a design team (architectural firm and owners representative) by early summer. This is the next step in the site evaluation process to determine optimal use for optimal future facility layout. Further exploration will be conducted will be conducted to determine the best use of the site and to consider potential funding options
Construction on any project would not begin for a few years. Updates will be shared in our regular District board meetings and on the Future of the District page.
