In Memoriam of Hy Kloc

On behalf of the Greater Boise Auditorium District, we were deeply saddened to learn Hy Kloc, a District board member passed away earlier this week. Hy was elected to the Auditorium District board in 2011 and served as Chair from 2011 until 2014 and he held other various leadership positions. His contributions to the District include completing the Boise Centre expansion in mid-2017.

“Our hearts are heavy with the recent passing of fellow board member Hy Kloc, who was a member of the District board for nearly 12 years,” said Kristin Muchow, District board president. “Hy was the epitome of servant leadership with also giving his time to District 16 in the State Legislature and other non-profit organizations in the community. His love for animals will be remembered as well as his good humor. We will greatly miss his camaraderie and presence on board. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Joan, family and friends at this difficult time.”
